Flint Mountain Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Reece Thompson, who joins the club on a season-long loan from Cymru Premier champions, The New Saints. 19-year-old goalkeeper Thompson made two appearances for the Saints last season in their run to winning the Nathaniel MG Cup, after joining them from Shrewsbury Town last summer, as well as nine appearances for their reserves/development squad.

We are extremely grateful to The New Saints for sanctioning Reece's loan to us.

Mountain manager Aden Shannon had this to say on his new signing:

"I'm very excited to work with Reece and help him progress. He has been excellent in pre-season and against his parent club, and has fitted in well with the lads. He's going to be a massive addition to the club. I would like to thank TNS and Craig Harrison for agreeing the loan deal."
